A journalist based in Kerala, Nishad Rawther has published a special edition report focusing on the excise border tensions in the state. The report, titled "Excise Border | Special Edition," delves into the challenges faced by local authorities in managing the border region.
The report highlights the increasing smuggling activities across the excise border, which has led to heightened security measures. Rawther interviews local officials who describe the situation as a growing concern. According to the report, the border area has seen a rise in illegal trade, prompting stricter enforcement.
This is not the first time Rawther has addressed border-related issues. Previously, he covered the impact of border security on local communities. His work often focuses on the intersection of law enforcement and regional governance. The latest report adds to his body of work on security and policy in Kerala.
